XTRU

Suite

This suite of tooling-free technologies enables rapid one-off forming, machining, and joggling of airframe components from extruded, roll-formed, or brake-formed structural sections, significantly reducing lead time and cost compared to traditional manufacturing. It is comprised of XtruForm, for CNC stretch bending to required contour, XtruMach, for CNC milling of required features, and XtruJog, for CNC joggling.

At Fairmount Technologies, we are committed to developing technologies that enable rapid tool-less manufacturing of extrusion parts with a focus on the aerospace and defense sectors. We develop, produce and sell CNC machines based on those technologies, so that companies within the industrial base can produce parts rapidly
without needing special tooling.

Our third-generation XTRU Suite is now in production,
and we are expanding our team to support growing customer demand.
